Chatelherault Country Park

Built in 1732, Chatelherault was originally the hunting lodge of the Duke of Hamilton. Today, these grand buildings have been fully restored to house a center for those visiting the area where they can learn about the rich history of Chatelherault and the surrounding areas. From here you can also take in breathtaking views of the park or explore some of the extensive walks which run through over 500 acres of woodland which the park holds. Whether your intrigued by its rich heritage or wish to experience the stunning beauty of the place first hand, Chatelherault really is worth a visit.
