The Stables is a delightful detached cottage set in the grounds of Buchanan Castle (now a ruin) in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Sitting within two acres of private woodland there is an uninterrupted view out over the open fields of Strathendrick, where the river Endrick flows out to Loch Lomond. This quaint, peaceful cottage has been beautifully furnished and is ideal for honeymooners or couples wanting to get away from it all. Local amenities are available at Drymen, only one mile away where there are hotels, pubs, restaurants, shops and leisure facilities. There are quiet roads and trails to explore around the Castle, with good access for walks and cycling. The cosy double bedroom is beautifully coordinated and enjoys a lovely view. The open plan living space has a fitted kitchen, leather sofa, wall mounted TV/DVD with satellite connection and dining table. The patio doors open out onto the large deck at the front of the cottage, providing a lovely area to relax, enjoy the view and spot the wildlife. The cottage has an open grassy garden and mature trees, sos you may see deer wondering by, perhaps red squirrels or pine martens in the tree, so bring your binoculars.

A refundable damage deposit of £50 is payable one week prior to arrival
