Description

This detached cottage sits on the edge of semi rural Bannockburn, with only a 5 minute walk into the village with all amenities. Views from the cottage look out towards the Ochil Hills and beyond to the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, with Ben Ledi to the west. An excellent location to relax in comfortable, well appointed accommodation, with great outdoor space.

The cottage forms part of a courtyard conversion. However, the cottage has sole use of the fully enclosed courtyard. It has a large decking/seating area with its own hammock to relax in the evening sun. Beside this is a brick built BBQ for alfresco dining.  There is a large trampoline and lots of space for children to play.

About the local area

The location is ideal for golfing enthusiasts as the Brucefield Family Golf Centre is only 100 metres from the cottage. The facilities on offer include an 18 hole course, golfing range and a great bespoke restaurant, which is open for breakfast through to evening meals.

A fantastic location to explore central Scotland. For history lovers, the Bannockburn Heritage Centre is a must see; detailing the story of Robert the Bruce - King of Scotland. The historic town of Stirling is only 3 miles away, where you can visit attractions such as Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument. It also has a great shopping centre and leisure facilities. For the children Blair Drummond Safari Park is only 6 miles away or visit the fantastic Falkirk Wheel. The hills, mountains and lochs are all only a short 20 minute drive away. Close to the motorway to explore further afield - Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Fife can all be easily reached (each less than a hours drive away). This is a great location, in an area which has something to offer the whole family and if you want to find more time to relax or explore, a housekeeping service is available on request.
