Nestling in the heart of Speyside, Tomachlaggan Cottage is a detached stone cottage surrounded by farmland on the Crown Estate of Glenlivet within the Cairngorm National Park. Tomachlaggan Cottage offers tasteful and comfortable holiday accommodation and is set in its own private garden. The pretty village of Tomintoul and highland town of Grantown-on-Spey are both close by and offer a selection of shops and restaurants.

Aviemore is just 27 miles and boasts a great number of activities and attractions. There is a wide array of outdoor activities available locally with walking and cycle tracks accessible directly from the cottage. Walkers can choose from local way marked trails, The Speyside Way or even head to the hills and bag a Munro! The golf course at Ballindalloch sits on the banks of the River Avon, a beautiful setting for this 9 hole. 18 tee course. Fishing is available on the river Spey, Avon or Livet for Salmon, sea trout and brown trout - permits are available locally. Pony trekking is available in nearby Tomintoul and skiing at the Lecht, just 12 miles away - or why not try your hand at sled dog trekking on the outskirts of Aviemore. The world famous whisky trail in Speyside takes in 7 distilleries and the Speyside Cooperage Centre. Tomachlaggan Cottage is ideally located for exploring the Cairngorm National Park and the highlands of Scotland from Aberdeen to Inverness.
