Little Dunire is located in the famous Glencoe village with a stunning view up to the Pap of Glencoe. This lovely detached bungalow provides comfortable accommodation for a family or two couples. Both bedrooms enjoy the convenience of en suite facilities and the lounge has comfortable leather sofas with a beautiful view out onto the Pap of Glencoe. There is a separate dining room and a well equipped kitchen. To the rear of the bungalow is a partially enclosed garden area with outdoor seating and a BBQ. Glencoe village itself has a few shops and a local museum situated in an old thatch croft house.

The shoreline of Loch Leven is a mere gentle stroll from the cottage and a local loch side hotel provides the opportunity for a swim followed by a delicious lunch. From this fantastic central location visitors can explore all that is on offer in Argyll and Lochaber. Oban is 34 miles to the South and Fort William is 15 miles to the North. There are fantastic outdoor activities available including walking, cycling, skiing, snow boarding, climbing, kayaking, diving, sailing and caving. There are many historical places of interest which includes Glencoe itself and a visit to the NTS visitor centre is a great place to discover all about it. The spectacular coastline and abundant wildlife offers something for all ages and interests.Visit the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary, learn some water sports skills or try out the 9 hole golf course at Ballachulish. This location is near to the route of the "West Highland Way", a long distance walk (95 miles) from Milngavie to Fort William, so it's a fantastic location to explore parts of this route, walk the renowned Devil Staircase or just enjoy the wonderful topography of the area, with many mountains over 3,000 feet, ideal for Munro Baggers! Glencoe has a diverse landscape from the wonder of the sea and stunning coastline, to the majestic mountains, a fascinating place to visit and explore. Little Dunire is ideal for a family and could be booked individually or together with Kentra Cottage next door to provide accommodation for up to 6 guests.

This is the second time we've stayed at Little Dunire. It's a lovely little house; comfy and warm and is in an ideal location if you love the hills and mountains of Scotland. Mr and Mrs Cameron, who help look after the place, are very cheerful, and will help with any queries you have. Will definitely be returning.
A clean,comfortable and well looked after cottage in a wonderful location.
