Approached via its own private track and situated on a croft farm, with cows and horses grazing nearby,it is surrounded by its own garden grounds and enjoys uninterrupted views across open farmland with forests and hills beyond. The charming seaside village of Ardersier is just 1 mile or 10 minutes walk away. Situated on the shores of the Moray Firth this attractive traditional village has a lovely sandy beach as well as an excellent selection of small shops, cafes, pub and restaurant. The Moray Firth coast is famous for its bottle nosed Dolphins which are regularly spotted close to shore.There is also a resident colony of seals which can be seen along the shore line. Boat trips are also available in the area to see the sea life close to hand. The charming seaside town of Nairn, with its award winning blue flag sandy beach is just 6 miles away. Here there is also an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and small shops, together with a fascinating area known as "Fisher Town" built during the days when Nairn was a thriving fishing village. The area is renowned for its wealth of sporting activities and places of interest. There are two championship golf courses in close proximity and numerous other courses within east reach. Horse riding, cycling, sailing, wind surfing, canoeing and fishing are all enjoyed locally. There are also numerous historic sites and places of interest close by. Cawdor Castle is well worth a visit, with its association with "MacBeth", and the garden grounds are simply stunning. Culloden battlefield, historic Fort George and the Whisky and Castle Trails are all popular with visitors. Ard Garraidh is easily accessible for exploring the whole of the Highland region and is well served for transport, with Inverness airport and Nairn railway station both just a short drive away.
