Visit Urquhart castle, stunningly located on the shores of Loch Ness; visit the atmospheric battle side of Culloden and the historic castle of Cawdor. Explore the lovely, unspoilt fishing villages and beaches along the shores of the Black Isle. Take a boat trip to get a closer encounter with the local dolphin community. The 14th century cathedral at Fortrose, the winding lanes of the ancient and picturesque town of Cromarty, with its old courthouse and museum all add to the charm of this beautiful and unspoilt peninsular.
