This unique self-catering apartment is situated on the first floor of the golf club and all rooms have amazing outlooks: the modern kitchen / dining room and bright dual aspect lounge face directly onto this renowned James Braid-designed golf course to the sea and Sutherland hills beyond. The pretty twin bedrooms look out onto the magnificent hill of Ben Bhraggie which dominates the surrounding countryside. The apartment has its own separate entrance, accessed via a short flight of steps. It has been completely refurbished in recent times and is attractively presented throughout.

This is an ideal property for golfing enthusiasts. Visitors are offered unlimited golf for just £100 for the week. The Golf Club on site also has an excellent licensed restaurant serving meals day and evening from April to October. There is a small, fully enclosed patio garden for visitor’s sole use. There are also numerous other well-known courses close by, which are also open to visitors, including the renowned Championship course of Royal Dornoch. Whilst this is a golfer’s paradise, the apartment is ideally located for all visitors, with miles of clean, sandy, award-winning beaches, woodland and mountain walks, sailing, fishing, riding and numerous places of interest all just a ‘stone’s throw’ away. The attractive small town of Golspie has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes, as well as a small supermarket. Just a short stroll away is a beautiful sandy beach and foreshore, with lovely walks along the front. A short drive south leads to the impressive Loch Fleet nature reserve with its resident seals and wide variety of birds and wildlife. Dolphins are also regularly seen along the coast. For mountain-biking enthusiasts there are a number of excellent trails, for experienced riders as well as beginners. Golspie is also ideally located for exploring the whole of the stunning county of Sutherland and beyond. Visit nearby Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Dukes of Sutherland, with its gardens modelled on Versailles. Encounter salmon leaping at the Falls of Shin, just a few miles to the west. Within 15 minutes’ drive lies the oldest Royal Burgh of Scotland. Predominantly built local mellow sandstone Tain is a charming historic town and offers an excellent selection of small shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs as well as a wide variety of sporting and recreational facilities, including tennis courts, public gardens, and golf club and bowling club, all of which are available to visitors. Tain is also the home of Glenmorangie single malt whisky, which has an excellent visitor centre. The enchanting town of Dornoch, with its magnificent Cathedral, award winning sandy beach and interesting and unusual shops is well worth a visit. Stone’s Throw is ideally located for exploring the wild beauty of this totally unspoilt region of Sutherland. Inverness, the Capital city of the Highlands is just 40 minutes’ drive south.
