The area is also renowned for its outdoor pursuits. To the south lies Inverness, the Capital city of the Highlands, which is within an hour’s drive away. Closer to home a visit Royal Dornoch is a must, with its beautiful sandstone Cathedral, championship golf course and award winning sandy beach.
