Ben Nevis is the UK's highest mountain and therefore provides some of the most extreme rock climbing areas in the country. If the weather is good it can be a fantastic place to test your skills but be warned in the depths of winter it is an unforgiving place. The northern face drops vertically over 2,000 feet and many other places have similar such drops.

There are many climbing routes on the mountain to choose from and it's a good idea to invest in a good guide book before you undertake any of the routes.
