The Skye Trail poses an exciting challenge for even the most experienced walker, with a route which takes in some of the very best of the island where some of the UK's finest landscapes are on offer to explore! Following much of the Trotternish Ridge, passing beneath the shadows of the Cuillin and meandering over coastal cliffs and through deserted villages, there is certainly something for everyone to see. The walk is not waymarked as it is unofficial, and as it is a strenuous one it should only be tackled by the more experienced walkers!
