We have arranged an insurance scheme with Travel Insurance specialists Bartlett & Co Ltd to cover clients booking through us. Scottish Cottages is a trading style of Cumbrian Cottages Limited. Cumbrian Cottages Limited is an appointed representative of ITC Compliance Ltd which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority ( FSA ).
DEMANDS AND NEEDS
This travel insurance policy will suit the demands and needs of an individual, or group who have no pre-existing medical conditions, are travelling to / within the UK and who wish to insure themselves against the unforeseen events detailed in the cover section below. Subject to terms and conditions and maximum specified claim limit.

This insurance is underwritten by Elvia* ( which, during 2009 will change its name to Mondial Assistance Europe N.V.) and administered in the United Kingdom by Mondial Assistance (UK) Limited. Mondial Assistance (UK) Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Elvia* is authorised by De Nederlandsche Bank ( DNB ) and regulated by the Financial Services Authority for the conduct of UK business. Elvia* follows the Financial Ombudsman service code of conduct for complaints and is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme ( FSCS ). * Elvia is Elvia Travel Insurance International N.V.
POLICY DOCUMENT
The policy wording gives you full details of what is and what is not covered and what to do if you need to make a claim. It is very important that you read the whole of this policy before you travel and make sure the cover is suitable for you. Please make sure that you take it on holiday with you incase of an emergency. A copy of the policy wording will be sent with your booking confirmation or at any time on request.
TELLING US ABOUT THE RELEVANT FACTS
Before you travel you must tell us about anything that may affect your cover. If you do not tell us about something that may be relevant, your cover may be refused and we may not cover any related claims.
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
If your cover does not meet your requirements, please return the documentation within 14 days of receipt and your premium will be refunded in full unless you have travelled made a claim or intend to make a claim.
PERSONAL HOLIDAY INSURANCE

These will be sent to you with your Confirmation of Booking or at any time on request.)Under some sections you will have to pay an excess. This means you will be responsible for paying the first part of the claim for each person insured, for each section, for each incident. The amount you have to pay is the excess.

The insurance offerings are available for holidays booked between 1st January 2009 and 31st December 2009.

All premiums quoted below are inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax at the current rate:

£12 for Personal Insurance - Cover for a short break ( 3-6 nights )
