Garden Cottage is a lovely holiday cottage nestled beautifully between Eskdale and Liddesdale and close to the River Esk, one of Scotlands greatest salmon fishing rivers, as it winds its way to its estuary at the Solway Firth. This delightful, traditional steading dates back to 1850 but has now been sensitively restored retaining the charm of the original building, yet boasting all modern comforts, ensuring your stay is comfortable and relaxing. All of the windows have attractive views of either the woodlands or the lovely countryside and the charming gardens to the main house. Garden Cottage has a sunny, south facing aspect overlooking an orchard and gardens and enjoys a private sun trap patio garden to the front. What a super base this is for exploring this stunning part of south west Scotland.
