The salmon rich River Tweed will delight those who enjoy fishing and Floors Castle (which is softly illuminated at night) is home to the Duke of Roxburgh. The cottage had a very homely feel.
I would recommend the cottage to my friends.
Wish we had known the TV was also a DVD player.
There was an excellent welcome folder with information about the running of the cottage and it's history. Plenty of leaflets about local attractions.
The downstairs shower/wet room was excellent and a much needed resource following an unfortunate accident out walking and I broke my ankle.
Because I was confined to the cottage I found there was everything there that I needed. My one regret was I had not filled in the feed back form in the welcome folder as we left early due to having to get home and go to hospital to have my foot checked out. Sorry for not filling in the feed back form.
This is an excellent holiday cottage !!!! Very comfortable, clean and in a quiet, tranquil little village where the people were very friendly and is an ideal getaway to chill out and relax !!!
