Hadrian’s Wall Walk

There are 84 miles of trails available along the wall allowing you to walk all the way along Hadrian’s Wall, leading to a further 80 short walks branching off the trail. This footpath is suitable for all ages with some stretches of the wall suitable for the less-able also.

Rural open countryside and moors are the main terrain along these walks with fantastic views. Many circular routes are available for all the family, stopping at interesting historic points along the way. This allows you to look back in time and imagine how it once was in this location in the past.
