With wonderful views across the bustling harbour and Loch Fyne, this apartment is beautifully furnished and makes the perfect holiday base. The village is home to a working fishing fleet and is an increasingly popular destination for the yachting fraternity. In May the heats for the Scottish Yacht Series are staged in Loch Fyne and the Seafood Festival in July is also very popular. There are some lovely walks in and around the village and the harbour steps lead to the ivy-strewn ruins of Robert the Bruce’s 14th century castle. Known as the gateway to the Kintyre Peninsula there is easy access to no fewer than four ferry terminals, with regular sailings to Arran, Jura, Gigha, Islay and Portavadie on the Cowal peninsula. White sandy beaches, magnificent golf courses, archaeological sites and an abundance of wildlife are sure to impress, whilst Campbeltown Distillery, Inveraray Jail and Kilmory Castle also make for great days out. A variety of shops, bars, restaurants and art galleries are all within walking distance of the apartment. Fishing nearby. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
