Perth and Dundee are both easily reached as are St Andrews, Carnoustie and Glasgow. Dundee has plenty of shopping and other excellent leisure facilities including Discovery Point, a five star visitor attraction chronicling Captain Scott’s journey to the Antarctic on the research ship ’Discovery’. Other interesting days out could include hill walking in one of the five Angus Glens with their stunning hill and loch scenery, approx 1 hour’s drive from the house, golfing at one of the many superb courses in the area, horse riding, fishing and sailing.
