This is a fantastic location for outdoor enthusiasts, as you have the vast Queen Elizabeth Forest right on your door step. There are endless miles of forest roads and trails to explore, both walking and cycling. Stunning Loch Ard is only 4 miles away, where boat/canoe hire facilities are available, so you can explore the small islands, the crannog or perhaps go fishing. The Trossachs has spectacular mountains to climb such as Ben Lomond, Ben A’an, Ben Venue and Ben Ledi. Surrounding you there is an abundance of wildlife to spot; ospreys, red squirrels, deer, wild goats and pine martens to name a few. There are numerous outdoor activities for every age and interests: clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, guided walks, 4x4 safari’s, mountain biking and sailing are all available.
