Description
Escape the pressures of day-to-day life in the stylishly refurbished Tower Cottage, situated within the charming Dalnaglar Castle estate, on the southern fringe of the Cairngorms National Park.
Relax and rewind with family or friends in this delightful, comfortably furnished, two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four. Guests will enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the estate, the surrounding natural beauty and the variety of adventuring opportunities on their doorstep, including the ski slopes of Glenshee, which are a short drive away.
Walk through the front door into the spacious dining room which leads into both the well-equipped farmhouse style kitchen and the cosy living room (up a small flight of stairs) with wood burner and wall-mounted 36" plasma TV with Sky Sports and movie packages. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric double oven and hob, microwave and Denby dinner service.
Upstairs are the two contemporary bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with twin beds) and shower room. A second spacious shower room with walk-in shower is situated on the ground floor.

Venture out of the estate and there is plenty to keep you entertained. Skiers and snowboarders will benefit from Tower Cottage’s proximity to the popular Glenshee Snowsports Centre, just 10 miles away. Walkers will love the Caterlan Trail, with the second of the five stages of the 64-mile trail passing through the estate. This stage takes you along a beautiful moorland route to the trail’s highest point between Strathardle and Glenshee, offering spectacular views of glens and rugged peaks.
The cottage is also an ideal base for exploring the Cairngorms National Park.
