This traditional stone cottage was once part of a farm steading, which has been successfully converted to provide holiday accommodation to an excellent standard. Steading Cottage, where all accommodation has the advantage of being at ground floor level, enjoys the welcoming comfort of a wood burning stove, making this cottage a cosy choice, whatever the season! The property is tastefully furnished throughout and is very well appointed. Steading Cottage is situated on a working farm at West Newton of Balcanquhal, only 2 miles from the pretty, rural village of Glenfarg where amenities include a shop, play park and tennis courts.
Steading Cottage is idyllically positioned for those seeking a single storey tranquil, rural retreat surrounded by magnificent scenery in the heart of Perth and Kinross, coupled with being an excellent base to explore the many delights on offer across Central Scotland and beyond.
Steading Cottage can be booked independently or together with Cart Shed (524036) and Mill House (524037) close by to accommodate extended parties

Ground floor

Property has oil fired central heating and under floor heating and comprises:
Lounge: With wood burning stove, TV, DVD and radio/CD player
Kitchen/Diner: With electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With two single beds (with access from the exterior via a ramp through a wide door).
Bathroom: With bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.

All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. Intial supply of fuel for wood burner provided.
