Description

The Old Mill Cottage is a charming single-storey semi detached holiday property situated on the edge of the historic town of Stirling. The cottage is positioned on the banks of the River Forth, which meanders through the town.  Inside the cottage is comfortably appointed with an open fire in the lounge and a large wood burning stove in the dining room. The kitchen is fully fitted, well equipped and has a stunning view over the River Forth.  In the garden there is a large wooden deck and outdoor furniture where you can relax, enjoy listening and watching the river flowing by. Perhaps spot some wildlife including herons, ducks, and otters or at night catch a glimpse of the resident owl. There is trout fishing on-site and fishing permits for salmon (for use on the River Forth & Teith) can be purchased locally. There is also golf nearby.
