Tawmans has been restored and refurbished to a very good standard of accommodation. One of its unique features is its turf roof; a form of roofing that was prevalent in Viking times and even predates thatch. Forming a protective carpet of grasses and wild flowers it adds immense charm to this unique and picturesque cottage.Original thick stone walls, deep silled windows, solid wood flooring and the cosy wood burning stove complete the picture. The high ceilings throughout maximise the light and add to its distinctive character. The cottage is superbly positioned between open farmland and the sea and the spectacular seacape views and sunsets are a magical form of entertainment. Surrounded by its own garden grounds it provides an ideal location for couples or singles to escape from it all.
