The National Museum of Flight is Scotland's National aviation museum and provides an excellent visitor attraction for all ages! Occupying four hangars, this museum is home to a vast collection of over 50 complete aircraft, including Concorde, Boeing 707 and an envious military collection, along with many other fascinating aircraft, aircraft engines, parts, models and images. Get a boarding pass for the `Concorde Experience' or try out a flight simulator and visit one of the many exhibitions hosted on site for a truly memorable experience for the whole family. There is almost too much to see and do at this extraordinary museum; in the summer you can even attend the East Fortune Air Show, a fun filled day of air displays and family activities! Located within easy reach of East Lothian on the old RAF East Fortune Airfield, this museum is a great place to visit whilst staying in the area.
