The Trotternish Ridge is a 20 mile long inland cliff, or traverse, running along the centre of the Trotternish Peninsula. This area of Skye is most certainly well worth a visit as it is home to spectacular geological formations, such as the Quiraing, and various other rock formations and panoramic views. It can be walked, by very experienced individuals, in around two days. This huge landscape provides a wealth of things to see and do, making it the ideal destination for both the family and adventure enthusiasts alike.
