Rothesay pier is famously home to what have often been regarded as `some of the most beautiful' Victorian public toilets in the whole of Britain, meaning that they have been magnificently preserved with most fixtures dating back to 1899 when they were first built. In addition to this fantastic landmark the western side of Bute is also well known for its glorious sandy beaches and alluring views across to the isle of Arran and the Sound of Bute!
