There are many way marked routes in Insch which provide ample opportunity to explore the rolling countryside between Insch and the Hill of Foudland, with remarkable views over the Pictish Province of the Garioch to Bennachie. With routes over varying land surfaces, there is certainly something for everyone in this picturesque part of Aberdeenshire. If its Pictish history you are into, then take the 8 mile Lenchie Loop, which leads to the ancient Picardy Stone.
