Jasmine Cottage is a detached and spacious holiday home set in beautiful farming countryside. Sleeping 5, Jasmine Cottage offers spacious rooms, is warm, comfortable and well-presented. The large enclosed garden is a treat with views over open farmland. An added bonus is the family run business next door, with a huge variety of ice cream flavours, snacks and children’s play area.
The immediate area has much to offer. Historically there is Caerlaverock Castle, Ruthwell Savings Bank Museum and the 13th-century Ruthwell Cross, as well as Robert Burns House in Dumfries and The Devil’s Porridge at Eastriggs (this tells the story of munitions produced locally during WW2). There’s also the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Caerlaverock, with Ae and Mabie Forests not far away. There is also two farm parks for the children within 7 miles of Jasmine Cottage.
There’s lots to do in Dumfries and Galloway as a whole – including walking, cycling, fishing, mountain biking and golf, as well as exploring the beautiful Solway Coast. All easily accessible from Jasmine Cottage.
From the fast paced mountain bike trails to the UK’s first Dark Sky Park, there’s something for everyone. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
