Exploring the area couldn’t be easier - a short 5-minute drive will take you to the Isle of Whithorn, where you can sail, fish or just sit in a tea room or restaurant overlooking the harbour. Why not visit Wigtown, with its many varied, quaint little bookshops?
Known for its dark skies, the Galloway Forest is within easy reach. The area is ideal for walkers, golfers and cyclists alike, with numerous golf courses, Glentrool, Kirroughtree and the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails.
