The Stables is situated in the heart of the Harburn Estate and is part of the former Estate Steading. It has been sympathetically converted to form a five bedroomed property with facilities and space for families with children and babies. The ground floor accommodation provides not only an abundance of space, but has charm and character. The well-equipped kitchen with dining table has a stable door and exposed stone wall which reminds you of the history of the building. There is a large living room and a dining room (which maybe also used to enjoy the selection of toys, books and games for the younger guests). On the ground floor there is the master, family bedroom which has an en-suite shower/bathroom and a twin room with private shower room and toilet. The bedrooms are well spread out which is benefit of the ‘quirky’ layout of steading conversions. On the upper floor there are another three bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. From every window in the Stables there is a different view of the Harburn Estate’s beautifully landscaped gardens, woodlands, lochs and parkland. The owners have taken great steps to not only ensure that your stay at The Stables is comfortable, but that you will have a truly enjoyable and memorable experience at this property.
There is the Bistro19 at Harburn Golf Club which is within walking distance and served a great selection of food and drink. Livingston is nearby for eating out, shopping and fun activities. Edinburgh and Glasgow are easily reachable by both motorway and train from nearby West Calder Station. Stirling and the gateway to the Highlands, the Trossachs National Park and Loch Lomond are all accessible within approximately an hour by car. Shop, pub and restaurant 2¾ miles.
